About How the paper is made, and what it will never contain

What this is

thebrix Times is a daily paper on fashion and luxury, the Gulf's malls, Qatar's tourism and economy, and the Strait of Hormuz, read from Lusail. A full edition is published every morning at 07:00 Doha, Sunday to Friday, with an afternoon update at 15:00 when the news warrants one.

Public information only

The paper contains published news, official statistics, company disclosures and market data. It never contains internal company matters — tenant negotiations, disputes, deal or project names, receivables, personnel, budgets or board matters — and it never draws on private correspondence or records. Every edition is checked against a list of terms that must not appear before it can be published; a single match stops publication.

There is no opinion page and no advice page. Where a story carries a read-through, it is written generically, for any Gulf luxury-mall operator.

Verify, label, link

Every story ends with its sources, named and dated, and linked where a link exists. Dates are confirmed by fetching the page. A figure the company or authority did not itself publish is marked derived; anything we could not corroborate is marked unverified. A company's results are taken from the company's own primary document — an RNS filing or an investor-relations release — and never from a media summary presented as the company's report.

Market data comes from Bigdata.com unless another source is named on the figure.

Basis of preparation · current edition

Compiled Friday 18 September 2026, 08:20–09:40 Doha time, from sources retrieved and date-verified that morning. Equity figures are Bigdata.com company tearsheets (FMP data) at Thursday's close; where a Thursday close could not be retrieved (Kering) the last available close is shown and marked. Next plc's figures are taken from the company's own half-year document via the London Stock Exchange RNS. Geopolitical items rely on dated reporting from CENTCOM (via syndication), UKMTO (via Arab News and Arab Times), Reuters (via MarineLink and Business Recorder), Al Jazeera, Windward, The Peninsula and Gulf Times; CNBC, Bloomberg, NBC, Lloyd's List, BoF, WWD and Vogue Business could not be retrieved directly and are cited by headline or via syndication. Hormuz transit counts differ sharply by source; the board uses Reuters/Kpler. Nothing in this paper is investment, legal or insurance advice; it contains public information only.

Corrections

Sunday's edition placed Monday's planned GCC–Iran meeting in Muscat; every source located places it in Salalah, Oman. The paper regrets the error.

Corrections run in The Record of the edition that carries them and stay in the archive. Editions are never silently amended.

The portals

Tenant Portal — underwrite a deal before signing it, and run a store portfolio on the same evidence the landlord sees.

Landlord Portal — pipeline to signed lease to a performing, compliant asset.
